LVAC offers opportunities for member artists to show and sell their work collaboratively in innovative pop-up shows in unexpected venues along the lakeshore.
How it works A committee is established for each show--including reps from LVAC, member artists, and our venue, sponsor, and nonprofit partners. We host 4-5 shows annually and members are invited to participate in specific shows, which are curated for interest, breadth, and impact--balancing emerging and experienced artists and a wide range of visual arts. All members are invited to participate in LVAC's annual All Member Show.
Your investment for a LVAC Membership is $35 per year and is a recurring annual subscription, which you can cancel anytime.
Commissions LVAC is about community. Each show has a designated nonprofit parter that receives all door donations from the show. Additionally for each work sold, 10% goes to the nonprofit partner. 10% goes to LVAC to sustain our work. And 80% goes to the artist.
Your listing on our site All LVAC members are listed on our website and encouraged to provide an image of their work, along with links to their web and social media sites.
Member meetings Members are encouraged to participate in valuable All Member Meetings, followed by optional critiques, held quarterly. Watch for notices in your inbox and through our facebook page.
You must be an LVAC member to participate in shows, meetings, and critiques.
